I adapted the prompt "A secret hope or dream that you want to plant and watch it grow" to a formerly secret hope and dream I've planted and now I want to watch it grow.

Journaling:

"Helping older single women who have no family or partner to give them aid when difficulties arise has been a longing of mine for many years. This year with a series of crises in a friend’s life, the final impetus to make the dreams true hit in full force.

"One Step Away International was born in March 2012. Lately I’ve been feeling thwarted at every turn. We’ve met with a boatload of non-interest!

"It just feels sometimes like there must be folks ganging up on OSAi and keeping them from lending a helping hand.

"One Step Away is supposed to help those who are one step from disaster. Instead I feel like we’re one step away from going under."
