Okay friends, you are in for a big fat treat today! I’m honored to be spotlighting scrapper extraordinaire, Elizabeth Carney! *crowd cheers* She is super talented at mixing patterened papers & creating chunky blocks with them, adding gorgeous pops of color & pattern. But she’s not JUST a rock star of the 12×12 canvas, she also creates some killer cards as well! Here’s a peek into her creative world…

Q: WHY do you scrap?
A: I scrap for 2 reasons. The first being that it’s cool to be able to allow my family & future generations to be able to see a glimpse into our lives. Also, I scrap because its a release for me. There is something about sitting down & creating that just makes me feel peaceful.

Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
A: 1998. My husband actually got me started scrapbooking because he didn’t have photos growing up of himself & wanted to ensure that we had them of our daughter. So we sat down together & looked through a scrapbooking catalog & I bought supplies! I’ve never looked back!

Q: Paper or Digi?
A: Paper. There is something about seeing a piece of paper & playing with it.

Q: I can’t scrap without _____.
A: My corner rounder & American Crafts white cardstock. I cannot live without my white cardstock!

Q: What’s your “theme song”?
A: On My Own by Barlow Girl

Q: I bet you didn’t know _____.
A: I don’t like overhead lights. In fact, if I were ever to build a home again, I’d not put them in anywhere except in closets or above our bathroom mirror. Those you need. I’d rather have a lamp any day.

Q: Favorite scrap store?
A: Scrapbook.com and Stop & Scrap online stores.
