I’m SUPER excited to bring you today’s scrapper spotlight! I may be slightly biased since she’s a part of my very own Creative Team, but I just know you’ll adore her as much as I do! Her gallery is filled with amazing pages mostly of her precious baby boy! She has a wonderful sense of scale and while space and her photography is wonderful as well. Please give a big warm welcome to Christine Rasmussen, aka Liahra!!!
Q: WHY do you scrap?
A: For my son. The goal has always been that no matter what happens in the future, he will have these books where he can read about how appreciated he’s always been and how positive he’s influenced me and us as a family. I hope that with this he will never be in doubt about how much he means to me and us.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
A: I discovered digital scrapbooking by a coincident in late 2009, shortly after my son was born. Since I could’nt do anything but converting images to black and white in PS, as the perfectionist as I am, I started taking digital scrapbooking classes right away to learn the basics before starting for ‘real’ in January 2010.
Q: Paper or Digi?
A: Digi. I’ve never even tried paper!
Q: I can’t scrap without _____.
A: a high quality varied mix of patterned papers. If I come across a new designer I find interesting it’s the first thing I check. There can be as many elements and what not, if there isn’t awesome papers I’m most likely not buying.
Q: What’s your “theme song”?
A: Live – Overcome
Q: I bet you didn’t know _____.
A: i simply love to learn new things! From the time I discovered scrapbooking, I have taken dozens of courses (jessica sprague / Big Picture Classes / Renee Pearson / Debbie Hodge) on PS/Ai (Illustrator) techniques and graphic design. This year I’m also studying photography at Southern Norway School of Photography. Life is to be creative!

Thank you for doing this! I am so new to digi and was a bit overwhelmed this weekend. I participated in a couple of chats and a bingo and spent money. or maybe that’s :/ But I never scrapped a page. I’ve only managed a couple pages so far in digi since I started. This one looks do-able for me!! Now to choose which of my new kits to use.
Oh that makes me so happy! YES, templates are really a great way to start when you aren’t super sure what you’re doing! Well, they are ALWAYS good, but especially at the beginning! Shout if you have any issues using the template!
