Today’s scrapper in the spotlight is someone I’ve admired for such a long time! Her photos will warm your heart and here shadowing will make you want to add more dimension to your own pages! Q: WHY do you scrap?
A: Being a Mom, you want your kids to have something to look back on when they are all grown-up. It’s so nice for them to someday see how they were as kids while having a cup of tea on their porch. I want to preserve their childhood memories through my photos and scrapbook. I want to be their storyteller.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
A: I started back in 2005. We just arrived to Tokyo and my daughter was only 4 months then. I was so determined to start my digital scrapbook when we were living in Thailand but since we didn’t have a kid yet then, I delayed it.
Q: Paper or Digi?
A: Definitely a digi girl! Though I have some paper stash here, I tried to do some hybrid work for my daughter’s school activities before. My eldest dd enjoys creating her own cards using my stash.
Q: I can’t scrap without _____.
A: Patterned papers, ribbons and flowers. I’m so fascinated with patterned paper, it really makes the layout pop.
Q: What’s your “theme song”?
A: Keep Breathing by Ingrid Michaelson
Q: I bet you didn’t know _____.
A: I only scrap at night and I can only do 1 page a day since my day is pretty hectic. My night isn’t complete without making a layout, it became a source of a relief from a busy day.
Q: Favorite scrap store?
A: My fave digi home is After Five designs, but I am also fascinated with The Lilypad stuff.
