Do you ever have those grass-is-greener-on-the-other-side feelings?

I’m a total digi girl. I love that digital scrapbooking allows for me to have a no muss, no fuss hobby. I’ve found that having a two and a half-year old running around the house grabbing everything in sight doesn’t make a good environment for attempting paper projects. I totally bow down to you who can manage it. I know I should just put my big-girl panties on and find the patience to include the wee one in my craft pursuits, but his attention span doesn’t really seem to be suitable for crafting at the moment. In spite of the obstacles, I do find myself wishing that I could create some real-life touchable things at times. Mostly because of all of the amazing things I’ve seen online. I thought I’d share a few of the inspiring projects I found and maybe inspire you to take one on so I could live vicariously through you. And all of these things are totally hybrid-doable, and I can totally picture them with the goodies available here at OSD.

Even if you are like me and have a ton of excuses as to why you can’t create paper projects, I hope you were inspired and thinking about different things you could do. Even better if you jump in and make one!

Keep in mind that you can always take inspiration from a card or mini album and translate it into something digital if that is more your style/speed. Make a digi card and send it via email to a friend or use a card design to inspire a layout. Use a page from a gorgeous mini book and expand that vision into a digi page… or just create a mini digi album!

Don’t forget to join us starting tomorrow (Friday, June 20th) for the OSD Block Party! Who knows what inspiring products, challenges and projects you will find there.

And as always, be sure to let us know if there are cards or mini-albums/projects that are inspiring you lately.

Cute stuff! I love the idea of playing with paper, but the convenience of digi always prevails.
