Today I am grateful for the internet. It sounds like a silly, shallow thing to say I guess, but when you stop and think about it, it has changed our lives in so many countless ways. Earlier in the week, in the forums, we were joking about being addicted to the internet. I think, what we are really addicted to, are the connections the internet offers.
I am thankful that with the internet I’ve been able to go to school and earn a degree from the convenience of home. I am able to keep in touch with friends and family with a few clicks of the mouse. I have found out about amazing books that I might have never read otherwise. I’m constantly finding new inspiration and am amazed by all of the creativity out there. I have found healthy and yummy recipes for my family. I have been able to create and share memories and stories. I’ve been able to explore new cities and revisit some from the past. And best of all, I have made some amazing new friends… and for that, I am very thankful.

I’ll second yours! I’m also grateful for the telephone as I live an ocean away from friends and family… and for the DH who got me an unlimited calls to the US plan
