Although my hubby is out of town and I’m missing him this weekend, I’m grateful that he is getting a chance to spend time with his kids/grandbaby, and he’s so happy about it I can hear the smile in his voice. I grateful to my mom for pinch-hitting and coming to help out in a minor crisis situation. I’m happy that my sister has overcome a lot of obstacles and is starting college.

I’m grateful for the old stories which guide and inspire. As the director of a new nonprofit, I find myself often stymied as I look for solutions to problems. So today I’m especially grateful for 2 Chronicles 20 and the story of Jehoshophat.
I’m grateful for modern day communication, in particularly SKYPE, because without it I wouldn’t get to see my hubby’s face, and my daughter wouldn’t get to interact with her daddy everyday. My hubby works away from us for 26 days at a time and is only home for 8 - so during the 26 days, we still get to share our lives together over video.
I am grateful for both my parents…supporting me in everything I do!
