Today is the end of another month. Maybe I should look at it not as the end of one month, but as getting ready to begin a new one. Sometimes I have trouble seeing past the endings and on to the new beginnings. It’s sort of the same with being grateful. Sometimes in the hustle and chaos of every day, I have trouble seeing all the little things I should be grateful for.
Today, I am grateful for the absolutely perfect weather we have had. There’s been no need for air conditioning or heating which is a great savings. I’m also grateful for new tires on my car! They have been needed for a long time, and it drives so much better. I’m grateful that I have a car and a job to drive to. So many don’t have either. And I’m grateful for coffee. Sometimes a cup of coffee on a quiet morning is the greatest blessing.
