Jaimie & Kimberlee, I must say ... I'm a bit paranoid also about things crawling in. Eugh! Believe it or not, once when I was working on a ship, a friend of mine had a cockroach crawled inside and laid eggs!!!!!! She was sick for months! Poor thing.

    Amen to that, Robin! LOL

Stacy, I have a plan with DH that if we have to flee, his first priority is to grab our son while I grab warm clothing for us. Wouldn't want to stand outside in this Scandinavian cold with nothing but undies. *Brrrrrr*

There's an upside to paying for file back up! I do not have to worry about grabbing pictures in the event of a fire!

It's fire safety month at my daughter's school, so this has been a hot topic of conversation at my house, lol!

LOL! Sorry, didn't mean to gross you girls out. But yeah .. that ship was oooollldddd (only 2 years younger than titanic), so cockroaches were a huge problem. Nonetheless, I put on some strong insect repellent after that!!!

I'm not as paranoid about that for some reason, but I never go downstairs without being totally dressed. I'm always paranoid about falling down the stairs and ending up unconscious and naked. And my family has already been alerted that if I ever pass out or die in the shower (or somewhere else w/o clothes), they need to cover me before paramedics arrive.

LOL this thread is fantastic!!! I don't worry about insects - it's too cold for anything other than ordinary harmless house flies, and we don't even have too many of those either Like Shinta, though, I do sometimes consider the "what if the house caught on fire in the middle of the night and I'm wearing nothing". The cold Scandinavian winters are not very kind to the bare flesh LOL But I do have a very good neighbour who would safe my backside (literally) if I had to stand outside and watch my house burn down.

My girls don't wear undies to bed either. I have to fight them to put PJs on at night - and more often than not, they take them off during then night and sleep in the buff. My boy, on the other hand believes in the warmth of flannel and socks

haha I sleep in underwear, I had a beetle crawl up against my legs when I was a kid, I was sleeping over at a friends house and slept on a matress on the floor... I still get goosebumps thinking about it. The feeling of the beetle woke me up in panic, that's how big it was. Gross!! So I always check under the covers before I go to bed, and always wear underwear and a tank top.

I wear full clothes to bed. h, with underwear and sports bra. And here is why: Kids. Never know when there are going to be a bunch of them in bed with me, and it really creeps me out if their little footsies go somewhere they shouldn't.

However, I told Atha not to wear underwear to bed. Genny still has to, because of accidents.
