So sad to hear about it too, they're one of my all time faves. I have all their CDs and will have to burn them on the iPad, the kids love their songs. How sad he coudn't even make it to their Hall of Fame induction. He was a good man.

He was. His death hit me the hardest of the recent few celeb deaths, probably because he was a person I actually respected. When they started out, the Beasties kind of over-embraced the whole "fight for your right to party" thing, but then they calmed down, and I think that Adam Yauch really turned himself around and did a lot of good. Cancer sucks.
