I usually dont eat until lunchtime, and survive on tea or coffee in the mornings

Oh yes, I'm a breakfast girl... I need my fuel for the day. Typically it's a bowl of Spoon Sized Shredded Wheat and a large coffee! Yum! :-)

LOL! Patti! My mother never let us have soda before noon so it seems weird to me to drink it early in the day!

I have to have breakfast. Being gluten free though my choices are limited. I've tried a range of various ones but the only two that don't take like cardboard or bird food are cornflakes and porridge.

Yes, I eat breakfast, and it is an elaborate process. When I get up I take a SAM-e, and it has to be taken on an empty stomach. So I take it and then wait 1/2 hour before eating anything else, but I do drink coffee.

Then 1/2 hour later I either eat meusli with milk or oatmeal with nuts and dried fruit in it.

Then about an hour later, I am hungry again, so I eat second breakfast which is almost always beans and rice.

Then I forget to eat for a varying amount of time, and what I eat after that depends on how hungry I've allowed myself to become.

Umm, but food is one of my super-obsessive Aspie "things," which is one reason that my daughter Atha knows way more about food at age 7 than most people learn in a lifetime, and why I am turning myself in knots trying to get into a dietetic technician program at Gaston college a couple hundred miles away. Oh, I have a new friend that has your problem Suzanne and she said that most products tastes like sawdust. I'm good at cooking so I'm experimenting gluten free handmade recipes for her. I've made bread, pizza, tart and doughnut so far. I have to try croissant, for breakfast.
