    Kids and bedrooms

BIL and his cats moved out! I couldn't be happier - Ian can have his bedroom back My two guys really need their own space - what about your kids? Are they ok sharing a room or does it just drive them (and you) nuts?

I still have the stress of a broken computer, but that is nothing compared to a 30 yr old who does nothing but complain about my noisy kids!
    I got a secret!

We have three bedrooms but one of them is a play room for the boys. Our Master is really large so our 3 year old has his toddler bed in our room. At the moment that works best for us. We do have a bunk with a double on bottom in Sam's room but we get guests every other weekend for the most part (actually had guests the last 3 weekends) in the form of my parents and grandparents and they use that bed. We will probably move in the next few months so I'm hoping for a house with either 4 bedrooms or another room that makes sense as a playroom so Nolan can have his own room.

We only have one child, so she's always had her own bedroom. Although, I grew up with 7 other siblings, so sharing rooms was a must. It had it's ups and downs as a child, but now that I look back on it, there were way more good memories then bad. :-)

OH wow! Sounds like a celebration is in order!! I'd go nuts with someone complaining about my kiddos!!

We have 5 bedrooms, but are only using 3 for br's at the moment {1 is a guest room}. Ian and Belles share a room, which they love. They're 6 and 3. Tristan sleeps with Nate and I.

We recently moved the little ones in the same room. They 3 and 1 and it works okay. They can't take naps at the same time during the day though because they just sit back there and play. We're sticking it out though because when they each have their own room, it puts me and the hubbs out in an open room that's not really a bedroom. Now that open room is the playroom and when my oldest is here for summer, she'll sleep in there. My goal is to eventually get her a loft bed so that she can keep her stuff on her bed and the little ones can't get it.

My sister and I shared a room growing up and we were miserable! I'm four years older than her and I think that's enough of a difference. We didn't become friends until I moved out! LOL!

We were empty-nesters for the past 3 years and then my 27 y/o son moved back in last October. Oh well....at least he keeps his room a whole lot cleaner than when he was growing up here. All-in-all it hasn't been too bad.

We have 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. We are only using the 2 on the second floor - one is the master bedroom, which we share with our almost 2 year old. My girls, 9,5 and 6, share the other one. We wanted to move the girls to one of the bedrooms downstairs, since their brother is getting way too big for his baby bed and needs to be moved out of our room. The girls, however, are firmly set against moving, so we told them we would be moving their brother into their room sometime this summer. They can either share with him or move LOL I think we'll be having all 3 kids in the same bedroom for at least a year

We moved earlier this year from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom, and the girls switched from sharing bunk beds in one room to each having their own room. Atha is super happy about it, and it's nice for her to be able to be on her own sometimes. But Genny's poor room is just a wasteland. LOL There's nothing on the walls, and she's become compulsive about tearing paper, so there's just like, litter everywhere. But we're working on that.

Walt, who's 17 months, lives in our room with us for now, but we have the fourth bedroom for him when he gets a bit older and stops nursing.
