So a couple of weeks ago, I threw down the gauntlet & challenged you to start thinking about ways you could share your own story. I hope that some of you were able to start creating pages about yourself. I know it isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but with a little practice, everything gets easier… right?

This week, I want you to think about two different topics you could tackle on the A to Z: Me scale.

C is for character. What does character mean to you? Is it your sense of values? Your personality? What you are like when you are honest & no one else is around… is character the true you? Or if you prefer, you could take a more light-hearted approach. Is there a particular character you feel a strong connection to? Or have you been told you remind someone of a particular character? Do you have a particular character trait you dislike or one that you are proud to shout from the rooftops? Do you share similar character traits with your family members? What about those goofy tests that you run across on blogs or Facebook… the “Which insert pop culture reference here character are you?” These can range from characters out of classics novels to which Twilight character you are most like. Or you could even take a more serious personality test & use your results to create a page. The more common personality tests are the Myers-Briggs or Jung Typology or you can look at the Keirsey Temperament (you can get a sample mini report for free) Sorter. They are sort of interesting tools and give a lot of food for thought (and hopefully inspiration to scrap).

D is for driving. There are a lot of options here that can provide fertile ground for creating personal pages. You could create a page about your driving habits (or lack thereof). Talk about when you learned how to drive, or why you choose not to drive (and what is your alternate transportation). Do you have a great memory about a first car? Maybe a story about visiting another country & driving on the wrong side of the road? What do you do when you are stuck in traffic? Do you love or hate going for drives (or maybe you don’t have a strong feeling either way)? Do you get nervous when you aren’t driving & are a passenger? Do you have specific rules for people riding when you are driving? What is your fantasy car/ride?

With those questions & ideas thrown out into the blogosphere for contemplation, I will leave you with some inspiration from the lovely OSD ladies…

Ladies, thank you for the great pages.

You’re next. Show us the “me” pages you’ve been working on. :)
