Welcome to another edition of Scrapper Spotlight! I’m thrilled to bring you today’s scrapper who knows her way around a bottle of mist and can rock the socks off some white cardstock! You may have seen her pages here adorning our Gallery Pretties posts in the past and today you get a chance to learn a bit more about her! Give a big fat welcome to Felicity Wilson (aka Felicityw)!!! Let’s set what makes this creative guru tick….
Q: WHY do you scrap?
A: I have always been a crafty kind-a girl, always cutting and pasting! So I guess I scrapbook simply because I love being crafty. I love the fact that I can tell the story, show the emotion, show the journey all through simply cutting and pasting. I also use my studio as an ‘escape’. If things are rough, or things are bright.. I like to get in there and let my emotions flow.
Q: When did you start scrapbooking?
A: I started scrapbooking when I moved a long distance away from my Dad and Mum which is coming upto 7 years. I didnt get into the ‘world’ of scrapbooking till my first son was born nearly 3 years ago.
Q: Paper or Digi?
A: Definitely Paper.
Q: I can’t scrap without _____.
A: Would have to be gesso, sprays, inks, paints… any wet medium products.
Q: What’s your “theme song”?
A: I dont normally listen to music, but right now I cant seem to get ‘jar of hearts‘ out of my head, simply because my last OTP was a jar full of hearts.. tee hee
Q: I bet you didn’t know _____.
A: That I try to a perfectionsist when it comes to scrapping. I re-do my pages and don’t often show alot simply because I ‘feel’ there not rigth.. even though there is no right of wrong with this craft. As girl at school, I use to re-do my assignments and re-write my school books because they were never neat enough!!!
Q: Favorite scrap store?
A: Here i Australia, it would be Blue Bazzar for all my wet mediums, followed by Annas Craft cupboard for other bitsand pieces and following close behind believe it or not would be Etsy!!! There are so many unique things there to add to your projects!
