Designer Spotlight | Fee Jardine

Today I have a new Designer Spotlight for you! It’s none other than our very own Fee Jardine!!!!!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have known Fee for a several years now & I just know you’re going to fall in love with her & her creative work! Don’t forget to snag the giftie she’s left for our readers!

Q: Where are you from?
A: Brisbane, Australia

Q: Where do you sell your products?
A: Here at One Story Down!

Q: Describe your design style.
A: Hmmmmm…can I say my style is a work in progress??? I feel like I am on bit of an adventure at the moment in terms of style. Being at OSD…has been great for getting back to my roots with designing so I guess if I had to say something…probably a style verging on doodly with lots of detail.

Q: When did you start designing?
A: Around the time I started Digital Scrapbooking…so way back in digital dark ages…2005. I pretty much made my own things to use on my layouts right from the start. So lots of bottle caps, bad digital buttons & textured paper…ugh…they were some scary times!

Q: Do you scrapbook as well?
A: Not as much as I would like to. Most of my spare creative time is taken up renovating our house…looking after the youngins & designing stuff.

Q: Favorite thing to design?
A: Love me some doodles….I guess I love doing these the most because they are the most natural things for me to do. Oh & I am partial to an alpha or two.

Q: All time favorite product you’ve made?
A: I’m a love ‘em and leave ‘em sort of girl. My fav product is usually the most recent thing I have been working on. And then as soon as I finish a new product…that’s my new favourite. Yes I know…I’m fickle…but can I say…I love the excitement of a new creation. If I had to pick something though…it would probably be my Little Miss Happy kit. It was the first kit that I had done in a bazillion years that I think truly represented where I wanted to go as a designer…so yeah…maybe pick that one :)

Q: What’s your latest product?
A: Not in the store yet…but this baby is one of my new things coming up.

Q: What’s your FAVORITE thing about being a designer?
A: My favourite thing is that I am doing something I truly truly love. Creating stuff makes me happy, so it really doesn’t get much better than that!
