Social call! With new members we need to get get to know each other a little... so let's list 5 random things we don't know about you!

Okay, about me...

1. I think I have completion issues... I have so many started projects around and I keep starting new ones. I have more uncompleted projects than completed ones...
2. I have 4 older sisters, but none that I'm really close with.
3. I've lived in Norway my whole life, except for a year in the US, No. VA to be exact. But I do love to travel and been to 10 countries and 10 different states in the US.
4. I'm currently in the process of building a house. I've been at it for almost a year now, and still no construction started. It's driving me bonkers living at home with my parents! The contract is signed and the floorplans etc is done, but now we're waiting for the county and paperwork. Bleh!
5. I love animals, and wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little.

Some random things today....

1. When I was a kid, I wanted to write songs like Weird Al.
2. I am on a real reading kick. I've finished 7 books so far this year and it's only Jan 11.
3. I know way more about Monster High than my nieces (9 & 7) do.
4. Sometimes I eat lunch in my car so that I won't have to talk to anyone.
5. I think Ben Affleck should have been nominated for Best Director for Argo. He got robbed!

1. I volunteered as security for the Goodwill Games in 1990. I had a multi-day flirtation with a Cuban baseball player. When they won the gold medal, he crossed the field and handed me his bouquet of flowers (across the dugout) and the whole stadium cheered.
2. I love to put raw garlic on things (so it is a good thing you're not sitting close to me right at the moment).
3. Sometimes I forget Kennedy isn't my kid.
4. I used to be so shy, I had to go to speech therapy because teachers thought I couldn't talk.
5. I don't like milk.

1. I have two different colored eyes - one blue and one brown
2. I am afraid of chalk - I literally run the other way if there is chalk around. I also feel the same about those marshmallows in cereal - too chalky for me! The primary reason that I didn't pursue being a teacher is that, at the time, chalk was the primary means of writing on the board. I just couldn't do that all day, every day. The stress would have sent me over the edge.
3. I was in the hospital on bed rest with the twins for almost 3 months, they were still early but had no major health issues and were home less than 4 weeks after being born. They just had to grow a little. We were so lucky.
4. I drink Diet Pepsi entirely too much. It's a sickness.
5. I'm extremely sentimental and have to force myself to let things go sometimes. I could easily become a pack rat!

1) Hubby and I got married young (21) and we're coming up on our 20th anniversary.
2) After being told by multiple specialists that I'd never have children, I was blessed with two beautiful baby girls 19 months apart.
3) I'm orignally from Seattle, currently live in Colorado and spent 7 years in Germany.
4) My hubby is gone A LOT for work and it sucks.
5) I hate getting up in the morning but I love the quiet beauty of the sunrise...and coffee.

1. My dog obsession is no small part thanks to my father working as a police dog handler when I was a kid.
2. My husband is 8 years older than me.
3. I'm adopted, but have no plans to find my birth parents (wouldn't mind one of those ancestry DNA tests, though!)
4. I'm convinced I have an overactive sense of smell in general, but liquorice is the worst. If I'm in the same room as someone who's eaten it, I can smell it a mile off and it gives me a headache.
5. I love remembering things. I used to have down about the first 80 or so digits of Pi, but that was a while back and now off the top of my head I can only do 3.14159365258979323464 - I think that's right anyway. I can also remember every Best Picture Oscar Winner going back to 1965.

1. i am afraid of talking to people in english, i know i am kinda good at it but i can´t! it drives me crazy
2. i started way to much things at the same time and then i have big troubles to finish them! so many uncompleted things!
3. i love to sing and dance like crazy and my kiddos hate that SO much!
4. i have alot of social friends but only a hand full in real life! that is sad, i know...
5. when i was kid i wanted to be a singer! i started to write some songs and made a singing education in school... that´s all...

1. I met my husband in the highlands of Scotland and we named our daughter after that village. (Airor)
2. I have a siberian husky and we live in a very hot climate..... no snow... (poor pooch)
3. I have a few good pals, but one bestie (she also loves Sissy Sparrows)
4. I love art, but you'd never know that if you came to my house (I'm going to change that though and frame my vintage ink papers)
5. I have anxiety issues and take meds to control it (I call them my 'cray cray' pills)

Dons' List

1. I love to play air guitar sometimes when I wish I could play a real guitar ... sometimes I substitute my mobile phone as my 'guitar'....Jules told me that she isn't joining the band!
2. I too have the anxiety issues but don't take the "cray cray pills"
3. I have a swimming pool but rarely swim in it
4. I have a public toilet door phobia and hate the thought of touching it..so I kinda shoulder barge it.
5. I have PCOS and had holes drilled in my ovaries so I could conceive children.
