In the US, Memorial Day weekend is coming up in a few days. That is usually the kickoff to summer. I live close to Seattle, where it never really feels like summer until late July or early August, but last week, we did have several days of sunny weather that made me get all nostalgic for summer…. which got me thinking about summer bucket lists.

Have you ever created a list of must-do items during the summer months? I have yet to do one of my own, but I asked the girls to round up some inspiration, and they found some really wonderful ideas!

Anna shared a great resource for those of you planning to visit the national parks. National Geographic has a free app you can download and earn cute little visitor’s badges once you visit the park.

The above is great because not only does she have a list on her website, but she also keeps a running list on Pinterest and references another great 100 days of summer list on Pinterest.

I think you must have these things added to your bucket list

  2. LOVING the compilation of lists! I feel like most of these are probably buried in a Pinterest board I have somewhere…but loved the visual of them laid back out again! Totally wanting to actually make/create/finish something like this with my girls this summer. Between two surgeries for the baby and some random medical crap for my middle two - i’m sure we’ll get SOMETHING fun squeezed in, right?!?!?

    Thanks for this awesome inspiration!
