Happy Sunday, all! Today I am grateful for those friends who’ve become family. As the wife of a hotelier, we get moved at random times from one hotel to another, which means packing up our stuff and moving across the country at the drop of a hat, leaving friends behind. We very recently moved, and I’m so thrilled to have found an amazing group of women in quite a short time, who have truly become like family. I know I can call either one of them if I’m stuck in a bind (ie: I have no idea what to make for dinner), if I need a ride/laugh/hug; or just to share the day’s events. It’s not unusual to find either of them on my porch in the morning with a pot of coffee and the latest news, or to just drop off something they saw and thought I might like. I am truly blessed.
So go, call your friends today and tell them how much they mean to you!
