There are times when I don’t feel very creative, but events and moments worth scrapping keep happening! So that’s why I keep a To Scrap List.

I am one of those people who love to make lists. Of course you can keep track of things in a notebook or on an app, but I like to track everything in an Excel spreadsheet. I like to go through my photos and think of ideas for pages. New events and holidays get tacked on. I also keep track of elements I haven’t used and challenges I’d like to try. Even when I don’t have time or the mojo to scrap, I keep adding to the list.

I don’t always scrap chronologically, so the list helps me remember that I never did scrap that birthday party two years ago and that I keep meaning to do a page about my addiction to Angry Birds. Someday, I’ll get to those. I don’t stress over it. And when I really can’t think of what to scrap next, I use a random number picker to help chose a subject or a kit. It really helps when the mojo escapes me!

My list has gotten pretty long – especially because of digi sales and the recent holidays – but I really don’t want the list to dwindle. I want the ideas and memories to keep on coming. I plan to keep track of them!

Do you have a system for keeping track of the pages you want to scrap? Please share your ideas in the comments!

I love this idea- I don’t know what I haven’t ever thought of it.
I started digi-scrapping a little over a year ago, and would love to go back and get some of the milestones that I missed - like some birthdays and holidays.

    Great idea!!
